Snooker Best Players

    Snooker Best Players

Rocket Ronnie started the year off in style with a fine week of snooker to win the Masters at Wembley.
Ronnie offers some support to Ding, who at one stage looked to have offered his hand in resignation, although he later insisted he merely miscounted the number of frames.
Neil Robertson made it two ranking titles for the season when he beat qualifier Andrew Higginson to win the Welsh Open in Newport.
Higgins is a big favourite as he takes on the 'Jester from Leicester' Selby, who has entertained the Crucible crowd.
Selby looks down and out as Higgins builds up a commanding 12-4 lead in the final.
Selby finds his form though and fights back superbly to get to just 14-13 behind.
Eventually, at 12.52am, Higgins lifts the trophy in the latest Crucible final finish.
O'Sullivan enjoyed a winning return to Aberdeen in the Premier League though, as he continued his domination by beating world champion John Higgins in the final.
